This book in six hardback booklets gathered in a box is written and illustrated by Agnès Emery, Brussels architect and designer of the EMERY&Cie house that she founded in 1993.
The common thread chosen by the author to illustrate her long artistic epic is that of the intoxication of colours to re-enchant living spaces, in a singular style in a fragile balance between simplicity and fantasy. The original texts were written at different times of the adventure.
A content inspired by landscapes and travels, but also by painting explored in museums and books. The six booklets are grouped in a box, or can be purchased separately. Each declines a colour theme - taken from her emblematic paint colour charts - testifying, through her own illustrations and original texts, to the many proposals that she imagines to present her work.
Unusual images that invite the unexpected, so rare and so necessary.
